THE CHURCH WE HOPE FOR

Hope doesn’t let the story end. The Harrisons and McBrydes are in the beginning stages of planting a church in Southern California. We’re just getting started so check back to see each baby step of faith that we take. This story began before we ever knew it. The two of us were just partnering in ministry in many ways — big and small. And slowly, over time, we began to realize there was a kindred connection. Like learning you had a long lost sister or brother. Somewhere in the story, a dream began to form. Take shape. Stir around in our spirits and imaginations. But the road there seemed far too far and way too long. And as we took different paths, it looked like the story wouldn’t write the way we had thought. But hope… Hope held on. Even as we encountered hardship. Hope kept going. And hope resurrected. The church we hope for is the telling of our story of hope. As we sit side by side and invite our Lord to lead us. We’ll let you in on the journey. And as we discover new steps along the way, we’ll pass them on here. Join us in this story of hope. And walk with us. We don’t wanna go alone. We’re not looking for followers. We’re hoping for friends. And fellow journeyers. Those who still have hope for the church. Those who long to see hope rise again.
